Applications by Individuals
The Waipukurau Rotary Club has available financial support through grants for a variety of community projects and activities. We are committed to fostering growth and development within our community and beyond. We are particularly focused on helping youth.
If you are an individual and require financial support for cultural activities, youth sport, developing youth skills, community, representative sporting events, youth leadership - live in CHB and are representing at a regional or national level then you can apply here.
The scheme is run and managed by Waipukurau Rotary Club Inc serving Central Hawkes Bay.
Grants will be made to individuals.
Applications will always be open.
Applicants will live permanently in Central Hawkes Bay.
Applicants will be in the age group 10 to 18.
For sporting individuals you will have been officially selected or qualify to represent the Hawkes Bay region (or higher level) and be able to provide evidence to support this.
Funding will be available to qualifying individuals to cover the costs associated with the sport they have been selected to represent.
For cultural, arts, skill development programmes and youth leadership programmes funding will be provided for the cost of the programme and/or travel.
The applicant will have to demonstrate a need for the funds and have also demonstrated some initiative to raise funds or support the community.
Grant applications will be referred to the Directors of the Waipukurau Rotary Club who will make the final decision. Please allow up to 5 weeks to receive our decision.
The approved grant will not necessarily cover the full cost of the event/programme.
