Connect Driver Mentoring

This programme of driver mentoring targets young people to assist them to pass a drivers license. There are a number of Rotarians that give their time, along with other volunteers in our community.

The programme was devised to meet a need. Some young students and workers were unable to get a licence due to a lack of finances - but the biggest hurdle was that testing only took place in Dannevirke and Hastings. The driver mentoring programme has been a huge success.
